FP-524D LEL

Detcon Model FP-524D is a "smart" gas detection sensor designed to detect and monitor combustible gases in the air in a range of 0 to 100% LEL (Lower Explosive Limit) using pair technology catalyst.

The FP-524D is equipped with Detcon's MicroSafe ™ intelligent electronics, non-intrusive operator interface and comprehensive fault diagnosis.

The sensor transmitter has an advanced universal design that fits all existing Detcon paired catalytic sensors that are more than 20 years old.

The sensor assembly includes the detector in a stainless steel housing, a basic connection board, an explosion-proof enclosure (available in aluminum or stainless steel), a plug-in control transmitter circuit, and a splashguard with cal port.

The packaging is explosion-proof (Class I, Division 1, Groups B, C, D).

The FP-524D is equipped with a standard 4-20 mA analog current signal equivalent to the sensor detection range, remote calibration, auto-adjustable zero and range, and LED indicators for error status and calibration.

A HART communication option is also available. Detcon's combustible gas detector has an infinite lifespan and is covered by a 2-year warranty.
